The HOOPLA tent sleeps two, it has a double bed and side tables with reading lamps.

There is a small sofa and we have added a huge leather chair for you to curl up in!

Close by is the outdoor space where you have privacy to enjoy some time to chill out. Here you can swing on the double swing seat , enjoy morning coffee on the raised decking or prepare a meal in the quirky horse box retro kitchen. In the evening you can build a campfire, create a romantic atmosphere with flickering tea lights and drink a glass of wine. Enjoy the peace and quiet and watch out for shooting stars!

You may wander around the numerous woodland pathways and sit by a secluded pond. The wildlife here is abundant. Hear owls hoot and wake to a dawn chorus. You may spot a tiny blue or red damselfly or the larger beautiful green dragonfly. Guests often use our binoculars to spot bird life. Buzzards fly overhead, green finches, the robin and the wren are just a few regulars.

The first of our fairground hook-a-duck stalls arrived in the autumn of 2017. Without instructions on how to put it together! The problem solving process took all afternoon.

Bought in October. It was then dismantled and put away until next season.

There are so many options!

List of things to bring

Firstly we hope that you will not need to bring a lot. Glamping by nature is about being able to take the hastle out of having to load up the car full of gear!!

We hope we have thought of everything you may need but if not we always say just ask and we hope we can oblige.

SUGGESTED LIST OF THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU OK!
Good torch or camping lantern
Tea lights …look great outside in the evening
Wellies or waterproof shoes(the grass is very wet in the morning and paths around the Ponds are muddy…they do dry up too!)
Slippers or easy to slip on shoes for inside the accomodation.
Charcoal for BBQ,firelighters and matches.

Own logs (or we supply them £5 a box)
Food and drink…there will be coffee, tea and sugar, available.

We are off the grid, so solar energy and huge amounts of laundry can be tricky. So we often ask guests if they can bring their own towels and covered duvet or sleeping bags, plus an extra blanket for chilly nights. We always supply a clean bottom sheet and covered pillows.

This way we also keep our overall fees reasonable, but we can make the bed up for an extra fee of £5. We can provide towels and bedding for overseas visitors for £8.

The Safari Caravan

New for 2018 is the refurbished 1974 vintage Safari Caravan. It is pitched up on the lawned area of our site with fabulous veiws of the Shropshire countryside.

No need to bring equipment, there is everything you will need to eat in or out in this ‘teashop themed’ pretty little caravan.

Facing a wonderful veiw across the fields , you will be able to sit out on the lawn, relax or have afternoon tea in style.

We have called her MARILYN. When we brought her home the inside was very scruffy. There were old posters on the wall from the seventies. In the top corner we have left a small pin up poster of  Marilyn Monro, hense our tribute to Norma Jean.
