The Safari Caravan

New for 2018 is the refurbished 1974 vintage Safari Caravan. It is pitched up on the lawned area of our site with fabulous veiws of the Shropshire countryside.

No need to bring equipment, there is everything you will need to eat in or out in this ‘teashop themed’ pretty little caravan.

Facing a wonderful veiw across the fields , you will be able to sit out on the lawn, relax or have afternoon tea in style.

We have called her MARILYN. When we brought her home the inside was very scruffy. There were old posters on the wall from the seventies. In the top corner we have left a small pin up poster of  Marilyn Monro, hense our tribute to Norma Jean.

 

Introducing our one night ‘B&B Gettaway Special’ for those who want a no fuss, no cooking, mini break at The Acorns.
You will be staying in one of our two caravans, either the cute little Safari Caravan (Marilyn) or the American Airstream Caravan.
Meals
*Afternoon tea or morning coffee , a choice of hot drinks and tea cakes.
*For your evening meal you may choose to eat out locally or we can provide a pie and peas (or veg) supper.
*Breakfast options would be a light cereal plus fruit meal or we can recommend a few places locally which do an excellent full English beakfast.
Prices start at £40 for the eat out option in Marilyn and £50 in the Airstream.
Plus afternoon tea or morning coffee, supper and breakfast for the eat in option £30 for two.
Additional tea and coffee making fascilty, free.
note: check in time is 4p.m-6.30p.m.and and check out time is 12 noon

This away day deal would suit those who are wanting to see something of Shropshire.

After checking out there are numerous places of interest to visit before you leave. To the north there is the walled town of Chester and not far west there are the Welsh Mountains, Llangollen and the famous Telford Aquaduct. The area of outstanding beauty around the South Shropshire Hills has some stunning walking trails and the historical towns of Shrewsbury, Ludow and Bishops Castle. For those interested in museums there is plenty to see around Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale. We can point you in any direction for an enjoyable day of discovering the area. There are so many options!
