Where it all began…..

Phil refurbished the outside of the caravan adding new cladding and paint work. When the weather warms up I am hoping to find time to add some pretty decorative painted flora and fauna too.

This is an outdoor camping experience. There is a small BBQ , and small fires are allowed. But for those who don’t want to cook there are some very good restaurants nearby, including two that do breakfasts.

Time to refurbish!

Phil has faced up the back and front of the wagon, replaced the door and added an opening window in the back. Looking good.

The craft hut

This is where glampers are invited to play and partake in a variety of crafts! Roz is a qualified teacher and is a professed craftoholic. She has dabbled in knitting , weaving , felting, quilting, willow work, polymer clay and encaustic wax.

Roz can teach you her own creative method in learning to crochet. This is a free ten minute tutorial enabling you to experiment with a latch hook, crochet hook. soon you will be making chain bracelets and flower motiffs!!

Other tutorials can last an hour or so  and for only £5 you can make some poymerclay earrings or learn how to make a piture in wax. For more options please make an enquiry.

The hut was built on an old hay wagon in February /March 2014 .

Please note: There are electric sockets in the craft hut where guests can charge ipads, tablets and phones etc.

The Camping field

This site is in a beautiful area with lovely views and camping lawn. Nearby the Craft Shepherds Hut is a place to potter and share crafty ideas! On site tutorials can be arranged including beading, jewellery, crochet, knitting, quilting encaustic wax, willow and more.. The smallholdings vintage vehicles provide a talking point for enthusiasts, an airstream, 1947 show wagon and pretty gypsy wagon. (Gypsy pod can be hired only £25 p.n.) We have aimed for self sufficiency in pork, beef, eggs and vegetables. We sell spare produce when we can. There are two natural ponds encouraging wild life. There is a nature hide where an otter was spotted. Dragon flies and birds can be seen in the new woodlands and pathways meander around the rapidly growing trees. It is peaceful and tranquil, willow is evident everywhere with domes, tunnels and hedges, and other structures are planned as the new willow craft emerges.

HOW TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE AS A MOTHER AND WIFE WITHOUT FEAR! I can only describe my self seven years ago as broken. I left a bad marriage with crazy debt, two suitcases and a four year old. I didn't know who I was, where I fit in the world and where to start building a life for myself and my family. I went on a long, somewhat detoured at times, journey. I gathered information all over the internet from recipes to Self-help, read my heart out and here I am now wanting to share my experiences and knowledge base with you...my extended family. WE GOT THIS!!!
